Horizontal Directional Drilling
The project consists of eight shoreline crossing drills at four drill locations in New York: Putnam Station, Cementon, Congers and Stony Point. Each crossing installs two 12-inch DR 9 HDPE pipes, with bore lengths ranging from 900 LF to 2,500 LF.
Caldwell Marine International provided all offshore marine support for Huxted Trenchless. Ground conditions along the HDD alignments include sand, silt, glacial till, dense sand, gravel, decomposed rock, shale bedrock and bedrock.
